While ministering to families within the community, the center encounters various types of crisis: divorce, family related abuse, financial, emotional, illness, injury, and the list goes on. Some of our families attend church while others do not. Bethesda's childcare staff has the unique opportunity to pray for these families, share promises within the Word, testify, and walk along side many of them. As needs within our community intensify, we at Bethesda have an even greater opportunity to share Jesus.
I believe that the greater the need, the more significantly Jesus will present Himself. It is through the touch of God that people are saved, healed and delivered. Our community needs a touch from God. The fervent prayer of Bethesda Child Development Center, as a focal part of this community, is that God pour out His spirit, touching hearts and changing lives. We pray for God's direction on how we can be used as His instruments to perform His will, giving Him all the glory.
Considering the issues presented, we seek opportunities for the childcare staff to pray together, where we can begin to seek God for His strength, anointing, and direction in the future. Many on staff at the center have requested monthly prayer meetings, in addition to our monthly staff meetings. I am excited about the opportunities in the future of reaching people for Jesus. God is faithful; when we seek Him He will let us find Him. He has proven Himself time and again.
