The Women's Ministry at Bethesda is a vibrant part of our church. Each month ladies gather for Bible Study, fellowship, fun, and interaction. Each event is planned so you will find friendship and growth with other women. Along with our own programs, the women join together with other churches and ministries for conferences and seminars. The Red Hat Society is a group for Christian women ages 50-80 years young. The group meets every second Friday of each month at 11:00 am in a different Tea Room, Restaurant, or Museum for fellowship, food and fun. Purple dresses and red hats are worn to each meeting. This group is looking for women who want to become a part of a group fellowship, make new friends, have fun, and hear a Word of Encouragement from God. Each December, The Red Hat Society supports the Battered Women Christmas Toy Donation by giving a monetary donation. Contact Linda Hervey at

More Than Conquerers Support Group

This group for women is a support group for those who deal with chronic illness or other problems/issues and need prayer. We meet weekly in the home of Mary Alice Stevens (call or email for address). You can come and be yourself at our meetings. Everyone is accepted as they are - and since it is in a home setting, you can come and go and move around if need be. There is a ramp provided for those with mobility issues. God is still able to heal and is working in the lives of the women who attend these meetings!
